Whether you're a full-on tequila aficionado or simply enjoy the beloved Mexican spirit, you'll want to book a trip to Tequila Town next month. This immersive experience, running for four weeks starting next month at Toledo Studios in Miami, will take you on a full-sensory journey to Mexico to explore the soul of agave from seed to spirit.

Far from a night out with tequila shots fueling the party, this experience shares the rituals and tradition of agave cultivation and tequila production. There will be tastings of course, but they'll be all the more meaningful once you dive into the heart of the process and the culture.

It starts with a train ride. Not a real one, but a clever, cinematic prelude that sets the tone as you “travel” south before stepping into a sprawling, 25,000-square-foot playground of agave-centered storytelling. The experience unfolds across more than ten rooms, each representing a chapter in tequila’s long, layered history.

You'll move from the dusty fields of Jalisco to humming distilleries, tracing the journey from agave seed to finished spirit. Along the way, there are re-creations of historic spaces—like La Rojeña (the oldest Tequila distillery in the world and the birthplace of Cuervo) and the home of the first Tequila Master Distiller and founder of Centenario Tequila—highlighting the craftsmanship behind every bottle.

Expect shifting soundscapes, immersive visuals and live performances that pull you deeper into the story. One room might echo with traditional music and ritual, while another feels like a contemporary art installation with a mezcal twist. And of course there will be sips and snacks and plenty of photo ops along the way.

The journey ends at the Cristalino Canitina with a nod to innovation and the future of tequila. A Mercado covering indoor and outdoor space is filled with activations, artisan crafts, music, food and cocktails to round out the experience.

The creative direction, shaped in part by Mexican-American artist Danié Gómez-Ortigoza, keeps the experience grounded in culture. There’s a clear effort to honor tequila as more than a party drink. It’s positioned here as heritage, industry and identity.
