For some of us, doing yoga means wearing Lululemon around the house while doing bendy things like look for a misplaced Roomba underneath the couch. While fit, fiscally responsible people prefer to justify the purchase of expensive athleisure by partaking in the actual practice. For you savvy, wellness seekers, Wynwood’s SOL Yoga (48 NW 25th St, Suite 104) is offering a full week of free classes.

Opening its doors on Monday, April 2, the sweeping new studio literally beams thanks to gold accents and infrared heat panels. It’s under these where you’ll unroll your mat and set out to experience SOL Yoga’s five signature classes, including a vinyasa flow, a fast-paced power yoga and a meditation-based session. Studio founder Cathy DeFrancesco based the curriculum on movements that empower and make one feel good because yoga, she says, is the secret of life—a.k.a. SOL.

For its first week in business, SOL, which boasts fancy showers and an adorable wellness boutique, is offering free classes to students from April 2 to 8 at 9am, noon, 4:30pm and 6:30pm. To sign up, simply visit SOL’s website or download the MINDBODY app and search for the studio. Space is limited and we recommend booking the complimentary classes quickly to snap a spot, especially if you plan on saving for more $100 leggings.
