Tensions are running high with less than 24 hours left until Election Day. In Miami, that means bars and restaurants are gearing up to open their doors for all kinds of watch parties. Sure, you could watch the results trickle in at home, but you could also head to the nearest watering hole to commiserate with strangers (from a distance, of course) while you wait to find out who will be elected as the 46th president of the United States. Below, a look at the watch parties happening around town. Check back as we continue to update the list.

R House

The Wynwood restaurant, bar and gallery is giving you something besides a color-coded map of the United States to stare at all night. Head to R House for a fun night of drag performances and fundraising for the SAVE Foundation, a local organization that protects and promotes equality for South Florida’s LGBTQ community. The fabulous Fantasia Royale Gaga, TP Lords, Karla Croqueta and Athena Dion are all set to take the stage on Tuesday, beginning at 9pm. Doors will open at 6:30pm and admission prices will vary depending on your table size and whether or not you opt for VIP, and range from $130 to $345 inclusive of food. Tickets are available online.

Sherwoods Bistro & Bar

It’s business as usual at the Little River restaurant, which just might be the chill evening you need on Tuesday. Take advantage of happy hour specials from 5 to 7pm, including deals on small plates and select cocktails, or stay for dinner and book yourself a table in the garden to watch the election coverage live on a giant projector screen. Whether or not you choose to follow along is up to you—there will lots of comfort food either way.
