Named after golf icon Ernie Els, one of South Africa’s most recognized athletes, Big Easy embodies both the golfer’s laidback attitude and his hometown’s unpretentious approach to dining. While the meat- and seafood-heavy menu remains true to the region’s cuisine, it’s also loosely inspired by Els’ travels around the world. Next to Bobotie Spring Rolls, Boerewors and malva pudding, you’ll find pork belly lollipops and cauliflower samosas.
