Review
Housed in the former George’s location—one of the Grove’s long-running French restaurants— La Rue is an impeccable, gilt-edged brasserie modeled after the eateries found in the South of France. The edited menu is culled down to the classics, such as steak frites, quiche and escargots, with several lighter dishes peppered in, like a Provencal seafood spaghetti. The restaurant’s wine selection goes beyond the border with varieties from Spain, Argentina and Italian.
