Time Out says

If we had to name a Miami restaurant that epitomizes quiet luxury, it’d be LPM. The European-imported, French Riviera-inspired hotspot opened in Brickell in 2017 and has been spilling out with chic regulars since—but not in the same way as so many of its neighbors. You won’t find velvet ropes or a DJ booth here, and there’s no dress code, though the linen-draped crowd tends to look like they just stepped off their private yacht. Miami food publications consistently rank it among the city’s best restaurants, and if you ask any seasoned Miami bartender to list off their favorites, LPM is most likely among them. While making it look effortless, LPM delivers refined yet approachable French Mediterranean fare, top-notch service and a wine list so stellar it recently snagged Wine Spectator’s 2025 Best of Award of Excellence. Here’s everything you should know.

The vibe: One of the reasons LPM succeeds so thoroughly is because it’s telling a story, and that story is La Belle Époque on the Côte d'Azur. From its lush shaded terrace to its art-filled dining room and cocktail menu inspired by avant-garde poet Jean Cocteau, LPM fully channels the spirit of France’s cultural revolution, a moment when beauty, romance and leisure reached new heights.

The food: Every table setting begins with plump tomatoes and a basket of fresh baguette. Go ahead and slice them, pile them on and dive right in. A parade of seafood follows: raw, grilled, pan-fried or delicately baked en papillote. For something more carb-forward, don’t pass up the potato gratin, and LPM’s crispy garlic rosemary fries are no ordinary spuds—they go through a day’s worth of soaking, baking and frying before they reach your table.

The drink: If you’re beginning with a cocktail, make it LPM’s famed Tomatini—a signature at all 10 of the restaurant’s locations worldwide. It’s subtly savory, refreshing and bright. For the wine, expect more than 800 bottles, among them rare Bordeaux, zippy Provençal rosés and elegant Burgundies.

Time Out tip: LPM rolls out its Les Precious Moments menu each summer. Through September 1st, enjoy a prix-fixe journey starting at $90 per person that includes a tuna carpaccio with hazelnut, grilled Chilean bass, escargots de Bourgogne and risotto with seasonal mushrooms, among other delights. New this year, guests will begin their meal with a wax-sealed envelope that contains a surprise—from complimentary cocktails and signature desserts to the ultimate grand prize, a $1,500 flight credit toward a round-trip escape to the French Riviera.
