The tranquil vibe of this sunlit spot is more what you’d expect from a spa than a busy salon, but Atma is not your typical South Beach spot. It’s spacious and welcoming, especially the waiting area that’s been outfitted with comfy, oversize couches. High ceilings and large windows are partly the reason why, even on its busiest days, the salon feels deceptively quiet and bare—though it never, ever is. Clients come from as near as Sunset Harbour to as far as California and New York, including the throngs of celebs who regularly sit in co-owner and creative director Sheenon Olson’s chair. Recently, the salon introduced Atma Beauty, a full-service medspa that tends to every inch of skin—offering hydrafacials, Botox and other injectables, microneedling and so much more.
