Time Out says

Miami’s best all-rounder, Aventura Mall, recently dove head-first into the future with a massive 315,000-square-foot expansion. Now, Aventura Mall is even more comprehensive, boasting a third-floor food hall (with tenants like Shake Shack and Luke’s Lobster), a nine-story slide for guests to enjoy and tons of new stores such as Zara and the only Florida store from the British fashion company Topshop. Tourists be warned: it's no easy trek from South Beach. A taxi can cost as much as $50 each way, so it’s worth the price of a one-day car rental to stock up.

I love this mall!

On my return to Miami, I knew I wanted to return to Aventura Mall as it was everything one desired inside an American shopping mall.

There are two buses which travel to the mall (which granted, is pretty far down Miami beach) so getting there isn't an issue. If you want to get there faster, jump on the 120 bus route, which has limited stops and is pretty quick, considering.

At the mall, there is a huge Macy's (two in fact), a huge Nordstrom and a Sam's and Bloomingdales. Need I say more?!

You then have a parade of designer shops, including Louboutin, Guess, Fendi, Cartier, Givenchy and more.

There is a variety of 'regular' high street stores too, such as Lids, Claire's, Adidas and Abercrombie Fitch. So there really is something for everyone.

Once you've done all your shopping and you are all shopped out, there is a vast range of dining options, including the famous Cheesecake Factory, for which the dine in wait queue was very long!

We chose to eat at the Italian buffet, pay by the lb, Sbarro. Totally recommend the meatballs and beetroot salad, as they were gorgeous!

We then opted for luxury gelato from the Bertoni Gelato Caffe. They do a dulce de leche which is just amazing!

I completely recommend visiting the Aventura Mall whilst staying in Miami for a complete shopping experience. You won't forget it!
