It’s only a quick jaunt from the mainland over the bridge to small, manmade Grove Isle but Palmeiras Beach Club Spa feels like it’s thousands of miles away on a lush, tropical island. Fitting to its hippie Coconut Grove location, it features facilities that are partially outdoors and whirlpools that overlook Biscayne Bay. The spa, while peaceful, is on the smaller side and has few relaxation areas inside. But guests are allowed to use the hotel pool, which is large and has plenty of loungers and cabanas.
