Body & Soul has been around so long that it’s become a Coral Gables fitness institution. It’s the kind of gym your parents went to if they grew up in the area. It’s where Zumba first took off and where the female-empowerment, dance-driven Vixen workout takes place. It’s been through some extensive renovations since opening more than a decade ago but Body & Soul hasn’t, well, lost its soul. The focus remains on fitness, only now it’s achievable on state-of-the-art machines and through various forms of group exercise classes: spinning, boxing, CrossFit and more.
