If the words rave and Key Biscayne bring back traumatic memories of your last visit to Ultra Music Festival, rest assured that this audio-visual spectacle won’t be that. Bright Lights Miami is a new immersive experience that’s taking over Historic Virginia Key Beach Park for folks to journey through safely from their cars.
Running weekends, the 40-minute event lights up Key Biscayne’s idyllic palm-tree-lined beaches with a kaleidoscope of lasers, beams and illuminated art installations. Music for the sensory spectacular will be broadcast via FM radio to each parked car, and sounds will vary from week to week. You’ll drive in through a designated path and park your car in one of several marked pods to take it all in safely.
Bright Lights Miami takes place weekends from November 20 through January 10, 2021. Shows run Friday through Sunday from 6 to 8pm and 9 to 11pm. Tickets are $45 per vehicle of up to six people.
