Helmed by husband-and-wife duo Lillian Banderas and Steve Saiz, Dale Zine is a Miami-born independent printer and publisher that recently opened its flagship shop in Little River. The adorable storefront with checkerboard floors is chock-full of rare and affordable gems, from DIY zines, coffee table books and homewares to an awesomely curated selection of local artworks and artisan treats. This Art Week, Dale pops up across the bridge at Time Out Market Miami with a mini shop filled with funky cookbooks and other food-and-art-themed trinkets to distract weary Basel crowds as they graze the yummy food and drinks on offer at the market.
To celebrate the opening of the Dale CuiZine pop-up, swing by the market on Tuesday, November 29 to catch DJs from the online radio station Orchid.FM as they spin vinyl records inside Dale's decked-out concession stand. Keep your eyes peeled for additional activations throughout Art Week, as Dale is known to host all sorts of sweet programming, from over-the-top pet portrait sessions to Miami-themed vintage t-shirt exhibitions and more locals-focused fun. While you're there, don't forget to snap a photo in front of Time Out Market's outside windows, which will be wrapped in colorful, food-themed riffs on iconic artworks in celebration of Art Basel Miami Beach.
