Our antidote, albeit temporary? This live performance by El Laberinto del Coco at the Miami Beach Bandshell on Saturday, July 19th. Led by renowned percussionist and composer Héctor “Coco” Barez, the 15-piece Puerto Rican ensemble fuses traditional bomba with Afro-Caribbean rhythms, Latin jazz, funk and folkloric influences, creating an electrifying, layered performance that will, hopefully, transport you mentally to El Coliseo in San Juan.
