Time Out says

It used to be that folks had to pay top dollar to see a classical music concert, but things have changed in 2020. If you want to catch a performance by the world-renowned New World Symphony, all you have to do is stand on Lincoln Road and wait for a musician on a golf cart to drive by.

Starting this weekend, the Lincoln Road BID and the NWS partner on a new performance series called—what else?—Musicians on Golf Carts. The ingenious activation is just as you’d imagine it to be: one of the NWS’ violinists, cellists or violists perform for crowds while riding up and down the pedestrian trip on a golf cart. Shows, of course, are free and you can enjoy them from literally anywhere—leaving a store, sitting down to lunch at one of the restaurants or strolling through the promenade.

Musicians on Golf Carts is scheduled to take place on the first weekend of every month, Friday to Sunday from 8pm to 10pm.
