Alan Palomo, better known as the frontman and composer of Neon Indian, is largely credited with pioneering the chillwave genre that helped define the sound of indie electronic music throughout the 2010s. More recently, Palomo released his first full-length solo album, 2023's World of Hassle, collaborating with fellow lo-fi indie goofball Mac DeMarco on its debut single. On Friday, January 2, the Texas native headlines ZeyZey in Little River with a DJ set on the mainstage. La Nina Brava opens.
