Vampire Weekend

The year was 2007. The album was self-titled. Band members Ezra Koenig, Chris Tomson and Chris Baio had come together over a shared love of punk rock and African music while attending Columbia University and would go on to become one of the era’s defining outfits, the darlingest of indie darlings. The peak days of music blogs and ironic eyeglasses may be gone, but Vampire Weekend returns in 2019 with a new album and accompanying world tour.
