Brooke Shields just had dinner in this under-the-radar Canadian neighbourhood named one of the world’s coolest

Just when you thought Downtown St. Catharines couldn’t get any cooler.

First it was named the ninth coolest neighbourhood in the world.

Now, one of the most famous American actresses on the planet was spotted dining there.

According to Fat Rabbit’s Instagram post, Brooke Shields made a surprise visit to the Michelin-recommended restaurant and butcher shop in St. Catharines, Ontario.

Fat Rabbit, a butcher shop and farm-to-table restaurant led by Chef Zach Smith, shared the news on social media, posting a photo and welcoming the star to their dining room.

The social media post read:

Why is Brooke Shields in Downtown St. Catherines?

Some reports say the American actress is filming Season 2 of her series You’re Killing Me, with filming running from September through November, 2026.

St. Catharines isn’t the only Ontario destination currently attracting star power.
