Tis the season for some of the best holiday pop-ups in the city.
From Montreal’s Christmas Tavern at Le Petit Dep to Promenade Wellington’s holiday Candyland-themed secret alleyway, the city is filled with magical ways to celebrate the season.
Hidden inside one of our favourite shopping mall in Montreal, the Montreal Eaton Centre, is Le French Line cocktail bar — part of Le 9ieme — which has been transformed into Vive le Vent, a hidden pop-up Christmas bar.
Open six days a week (closed on Mondays), head up to the 9th floor for signature holiday cocktails, sparkling retro décor and a warm, festive atmosphere.
When it comes to cocktails, we’re talking about Eggnog (brandy, rum, sherry, egg, cream), a Gingerbread Mule (vodka, gingerbread spices, ginger beer), and Cranberry Collins (cranberry gin, Pineau des Charentes, cranberry cordial, CO₂).
Where is Vive le Vent?
The French Line Cocktail Bar becomes Vive le Vent, a festive pop-up Christmas bar, from Saturday, November 29, 2025, to Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
Head right up to the 9th floor of the Montreal Eaton Centre.
