After months of fans obsessing over every moment inside, the snow‑blanketed retreat at the heart of this winter’s hottest rivalry is finally coming to Airbnb. 

For the first time, guests can step inside and experience the magic firsthand.

Nestled in Muskoka, Canada—renowned for its iconic lakeside cottage culture and celebrity visitors—this three‑bedroom hideaway (all king beds) offers an intimate, off-the-grid escape.

Where is the Heated Rivalry cottage?

The iconic Barlochan Cottage, featured on a hit TV show this season, is a luxurious modern retreat boasting nearly 400 feet of private waterfront, perfect for enjoying Muskoka’s breathtaking sunsets.

According to the listing, the cottage has 3 bedrooms, 3 beds and 3 baths.

Barlochan Cottage is situated on Walkers Point along the west shore of Lake Muskoka, just 20 minutes from the towns of Gravenhurst and Bala. The property provides boating access to the "Big 3" Muskoka Lakes. Muskoka Airport is within a 30-minute drive, while Toronto Pearson Airport is approximately 90 minutes away.

Property and Outdoor Features

Set against the classic Muskoka landscape, the property combines rocky waterfront with a sandy beach that offers a shallow, private entry into the water. Guests can enjoy multiple outdoor areas, including a patio equipped with Muskoka chairs and a BBQ. Notable features include 385 feet of waterfront, north-west exposure for stunning sunsets, privacy, and several outdoor seating spaces.

Outdoor activities include three kayaks, two canoes, and a fire pit for cozy evenings. The property is equipped with a generator but does not have air conditioning. Multi-week rentals include weekly linen and towel service, and all properties come with 5-star quality white linens, BBQ, unlimited Wi-Fi, Smart TVs, laundry facilities, dishwasher, drip coffee maker, vacuum, and cleaning supplies. During peak season, rentals include eight hours of midweek housekeeping. Note that boathouses, bunkies, and 3-season Muskoka rooms, along with outdoor furniture and water toys, are unavailable from Thanksgiving to Victoria Day Weekend for safety reasons.

Interior Features

The main level of the cottage features an open-concept kitchen with high ceilings, a large island with four stools, and a walkout to the patio through the Muskoka Room. The dining area seats eight and adjoins a sitting area by the wood fireplace. The living room includes a sectional sofa and gas fireplace, while the Muskoka Room offers high ceilings, large windows, a TV, a sectional, and patio access.

The lower level includes a recreation room with a large TV and three theater chairs, as well as an exercise room with two machines, free weights, and a Murphy bed for overflow sleeping.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

The main level houses the primary bedroom with a queen bed and a three-piece ensuite with shower. The lower level includes two additional queen bedrooms with walkouts and two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a tub.

Guest and Property Guidelines

Barlochan Cottage is strictly non-smoking and allows pets only with a signed waiver. Occupancy is limited to six guests. Quiet hours are strictly enforced from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. Indoor fires are prohibited, while outdoor fires are allowed after sundown if no fire ban is in effect and must be fully extinguished. The property operates on a septic system, and only toilet paper should be flushed. Garbage must be properly disposed of and separated for recycling, and never left outside. Guests agree that the agency or owner may enter the property during the rental period for inspection, maintenance, or repairs. Every effort has been made to ensure accuracy of the property description and amenities, but minor discrepancies may occur.
