Starting today, the cult Chinatown institution is serving its famous Cantonese barbecue at Time Out Market Montréal, in the heart of downtown’s Montreal Eaton Centre.

It’s official: Montreal’s favourite Cantonese barbecue has arrived at Time Out Market Montréal.
Famous for over 40 years for its killer Cantonese barbecue, Dobe & Andy is opening a new spot at the Market featuring many of the signature dishes that have built its reputation across generations.
On the menu? The famous char siu pork, crispy roast pork, lacquered duck leg, and classic Cantonese fried chicken, served with rice and vegetables.
The new eaterie will also offer family-recipe-inspired favourites like mapo tofu, supreme fried rice, Shanghai-style noodles, homemade wontons, and traditional Hong Kong milk tea.
Founded by Andy Ku after arriving in Montreal from Hong Kong in the late 1970s, Dobe & Andy has become one of the key culinary pillars of Chinatown.
Since the 1980s, it has established itself as a go-to destination for traditional Cantonese barbecue in Montreal.
Now led by Eric Ku and partner Webster Galman, the institution continues to evolve its legacy, blending Hong Kong traditions with a more contemporary approach.
The arrival of Dobe & Andy at Time Out Market Montréal highlights the Market’s ability to bring the best of the city under one roof.
Following the recent opening of La Capital Tacos, this new addition to the Market’s culinary roster further strengthens Time Out Market Montréal’s ability to deliver dishes that are deeply rooted in Montreal’s cultural history.
