Travellers, beware: the multi-level parking facility and the P5 lot located in front of YUL’s terminal is closing.
The end is near for YUL’s aging multi-level parking facility.
The structure — along with its adjacent lot — will officially close to the public in October, marking the start of a major transformation at Montréal–Trudeau International Airport.

When is the closure of P5 and multi-level parking lots?
Starting on October 15, 2025, travellers will need to park elsewhere on the airport grounds.
With fewer spots available during the transition, those planning to drive are strongly encouraged to book parking online in advance — especially during busy travel periods.
Better yet, consider one of the many public transit options to make your journey smoother.

How to get to P4 at YUL?
The recently opened P4 lot, launched in winter 2024 with more than 2,800 spaces spread over four levels, will become the go-to choice for quick terminal access.
Car rental services and accessible parking will also move there, while valet and short-term parking will shift to HotelParc beneath the Marriott hotel.
The demolition paves the way for a complete redesign of the terminal’s drop-off and pick-up zones, which will eventually triple in capacity and significantly ease traffic flow.
A brand-new multi-level parking structure — complete with 6,300 spaces and a new underground level for 1,200 vehicles — is slated for completion in 2031, ushering in a more seamless travel experience at YUL.
