Designed to handle up to four million passengers annually, the facility aims to improve air access for more than three million residents across Montreal, Montérégie and the Eastern Townships.
The terminal includes 9 gates, 900 seats and two baggage carousels, with construction beginning in August 2023 and reaching completion after several delays pushed back its initial opening timeline.
Porter Airlines and Pascan Aviation will be the first carriers to operate from the site, offering domestic routes across Canada. Around 30 daily flights are expected, serving up to 12 destinations at launch.
The MET – Montreal Metropolitan Airport (formerly Saint-Hubert Airport) is located at 5700 Route de l'Aéroport, Longueuil, QC J3Y 8Y9, Canada.
To improve connectivity, an express shuttle service will link the Longueuil–Université-de-Sherbrooke métro station directly to the airport.
