Montreal’s new airport is officially open, welcoming its first passengers on June 15th, 2026.
The new airport is expected to complement the much larger Montréal–Trudeau International Airport, which serves as a major hub.
Its opening marks the return of a two-airport commercial system to Canada’s second-largest city for the first time in more than 20 years.
