The largest streetfood festival in the province is coming back to Montreal—with a free fireworks show

Montreal is getting ready for 50 kiosks, 25+ countries and more than 150 dishes to take over the Old Port this summer.

Four nights? 50 kiosks from more than 25 different countries? Over 150 mouthwatering dishes?

​​Founded in 2019, Festival Streetfood de Montréal has grown from a neighbourhood party to the largest street food festivals in Quebec, taking over the Old Port waterfront each year.

The festival’s 2026 edition is setting a new record with the most countries represented—and more than 150 epic dishes to discover.

Bonus: the festival’s opening night coincides with the Loto-Québec Fireworks, so the fireworks will be fully visible—and free!

Time Out Tip: with most dishes priced under $10, Festival Streetfood Montréal is one of Montreal’s most cheap and delicious events of the summer.

What else is happening at Festival Streetfood Montréal?

In addition to more than 150 dishes from Filipino street food to Brazilian treats, DJ sets will take place every night, featuring Latin, Caribbean, Middle Eastern, and East Asian sounds, creating a different atmosphere each evening. 

Guests can also enjoy house cocktails alongside a wide selection of craft beers from local microbreweries.

Cuisine de Manille returns to defend its title after being voted Best Kiosk at the 2025 festival, bringing its signature Filipino street food back for another year. Visitors are invited to decide if any kiosk can take the crown by voting for their favourite, with the chance to win a prize.

A family zone will offer inflatables and claw machines for children, while the waterfront chill terrace provides a relaxed space to enjoy a drink with views of the St. Lawrence River.
