Bicycle trailers for rent!

BIXI Montréal is revolutionizing urban transportation with the debut of the world’s first fleet of trailers built exclusively for bike‑sharing systems.

Take that, Mississauga and Toronto.

Designed and assembled entirely in Montreal, these BIXI trailers are now available at select stations throughout the city.

BIXI has advanced its sustainable mobility revolution with the launch of this integrated trailer service.

The groundbreaking innovation not only expands the potential of bike-sharing but also reimagines how users navigate the city day to day (especially during an STM bus and metro strike).

Designed to meet diverse user needs, this solution paves the way for countless practical applications, reinforcing Montreal’s reputation as a North American leader in mobility innovation.

A first in North America, the new BIXI trailer service allows cyclists to do their shopping and transport their belongings easily and sustainably.

Built in Montreal’s Saint-Laurent borough, BIXI’s first major product innovation—a fleet of 50 dual-compatible trailers—will be rolled out this summer.

Designed for both BIXI bikes and personal bicycles, each trailer features a secure padlock system and can be easily rented and returned via the BIXI app.

Developed through extensive research and testing, the lightweight, durable trailers are built to meet the demands of urban bike-sharing, offering a simple, affordable, and reliable transport solution.
