Amelia White & The Blue Souvenirs (E2 Tg Residency) says
The E2TG Residency finishes in style with a musicially diverse night of music.

Amelia White & the Blue Souvenirs - Amelia White is a long time East Nashville favorite who plays Americana music the way it meant to be - tough and touching and bitter and sweet. Backed by some of the best musicians around (The Blue Souvenirs this time around will be Parker Hawkins, Justin Amaral, and Sergio Webb - and maybe more).

Seductive and smokey, dark and woody like a road stop in the midwest somewhere, HOME SWEET HOTEL (White's latest album) bounces acoustic and electric guitars against backdrops by turns delicate or rocking, framing Amelia's voice and its quiet urgency, bearing traces of Amy Ray and early career Lucinda Williams. "Dangerous Angel" is taut with a subtle but undeniable sensual tension, while "dogs Bark" is a bluesy sardonic punch at people who talk too much about other people. "Rainbow Over the East Side" is a defiantly optimistic salute to her adopted home town of East Nashville.

Erin, Ben Tufts, and Chris Stelloh toured nationally for four years together as Miss Shevaughn & Yuma Wray, a band remarked upon by the likes of PopMatters, Sound Opinions, and Gaper's Block to have a knack for seamlessly bringing together diverse influences and sounds.

The trio’s new artistic venture, FuzzQueen is poised to introduce a completely unique sound that draws on 70’s rock, acid folk, 90’s indie, psychedelia, social activism, and post apocalyptic literature and film. FuzzQueen is the darker, heavier, mystical twin sister of the previous project. The band has most recently settled into Washington D.C. group music house where they host art and music shows.
