Writings on the Wall says
This month's theme is inspired by a stanza of Anne Sexton's "The Sermon of the Twelve Acknowledgments."

During the rainstorms of April
the oyster rises from the sea
and opens its shell —
rain enters it —
when it sinks the raindrops
become the pearl.
So take a picnic,
open your body,
and give birth to pearls.

What ways do pearls show up in your work? Share with us the Third Thursday of April. Email wotwpoetry@gmail.com if you are interested in sharing some of your poetry so that we can organize the lineup.
