Badass Ballets With Bianca 13

Enjoy all the drama of classical ballet while expanding your dancing skills in this new series offered by Bianca 13! Bitchin' Ballets are six week courses that feature variations inspired by the original choreographers of different classical ballets. Dancers will focus on technique, presence and performance. Each series is an invitation for the beginning to intermediate dancer to explore and enjoy ballet in a fun and organic way. Series One- La Bayadera La Bayadere (The Temple Dancer) is the story of an Indian temple dancer, her lover and the vengeance that separates them. This opulent ballet has live snakes, a passionate love triangle and breathtaking dancing. This is truly one of the greatest 19th century ballets, first staged by the French choreographer Marius Petipa for the Imperial Ballet in St. Petersburg in 1877. No dress code, socks or ballet shoes preferred.
