Bhakti Yoga is the yoga of love, devotion, & relationship. In this 3 hour Immersion, we will explore opening the heart though various yoga practices.
*Origins & direct experience practices of Bhakti Yoga
*Introduction to Mantra, Japa, Hindu dieties
*Introduction to the Art & practice of Kirtan
*Opening & uniting body, mind, & spirit through sound/voice
*Breath/Pranayama practice w/Mantra
*Chakra opening/balancing
Kirtan is the ancient practice of repetitive mantra chanting/singing that helps us feel into our heart center and connect to our true nature. This connection returns us to a more loving kind relationship with ourselves, with each other, and all of life.
Chanting the Divine name, exploring the art and practice of KIRTAN, we surrender ourselves into the vast ocean of devotion, opening to the full spectrum of feeling, flavor, sound, color, and movement of life. This vital wave carries us into deepening states of consciousness, opening the way to True Liberation.
