BROTHER MAN (Nashville)

Wedn. May 24th
$5 - 21+
Space4Lease :
"Hiraeth... the name of the new EP from Oklahoma City indie rock four-piece Space4Lease. It’s hard to place the project, or the band in general, in any specific genre, and that’s the way the bandmates like it. Characterized by soulful vocals, introspective lyrics, dramatic keys and punchy melodies, the five-track offering is diverse in its range. Listeners might spot influences from bands like My Morning Jacket and Coldplay."

-Nathan Poppe (The Oklahoman)

Brother Man :
Formed in late 2015, Brother Man is the manic brain child of Christopher Winfree, who after writing songs on his own for years, decided blues needed an injection of life - so he set out to start a band. Winfree enlisted drum wunderkind, Dalton Smith, and thus Brother Man was born. Winfree's frenetic stage presence and Smith's percussive prowess are the cornerstone of Brother Man, creating a barrage of blues and rock n' roll that would make Clapton and King blush. Robert Johnson and Jack White be damned, blues and rock n' roll's been revived by Brother Man.
