Cultivating Compassionate Communication

Theme: “Compassionate Communication” Guest Speakers: Deb Palmer George, MHRC Commissioner Carlene Robinson, NVC Nashville Cultivating Compassion is a monthly gathering of community members focused on connecting, learning and sharing around the practice of compassion. Sponsored by the Metro Human Relations Commission and Scarritt Bennett Center, this intentional time has been developed in a response to the question: “How do we incorporate more compassion into our personal and professional lives?” During our time together, we will explore and share with one another the best practices around discovering, cultivating, and sustaining compassion in our lives and communities. Components of the monthly program will include showcasing and highlighting the compassionate work of local organizations, hosting key speakers on various themes of the human experience including education, healthcare, business, faith, etc. and featuring music, dialogue, round table discussions, and more!
