Engage Green: Saving April Showers
Advertising
Time Out says
Save those April showers (and your water bills) with a low-tech, high-efficiency rain barrel. In this Engage Green workshop, we will learn about the benefits of rainwater catchment systems, how to use gray water, and how to build your own rain barrel. Harvest the rain, and add a new craft to your DIY skill-set! This workshop is FREE and open to the public. If you want to purchase one of the barrels we build, bring $40 (this is a great deal!).
***You MUST RSVP to http://tinyurl.com/q8de2nw if you want a rain barrel.***
When: Wednesday, March 4th 6:00-7:30 PM
Where: Cumberland River Compact, Bridge Building, 2 Victory Ave, Suite 300, 37213
Please RSVP here (http://tinyurl.com/q8de2nw) so we can get a rough head count. Check out our website calendar for more information on this event and others (www.urbangreenlab.org).
Our partners for this event are Team Green Adventures, the Cumberland River Compact, and the Mill Creek Water Shed Association.
