Time Out says

FASCINATION STREET returns to The East Room on Saturday, February 14th, 2015. That's right, they're trusting us with Valentine's Day this year, so we'll be breaking some hearts with selections ripped right from rib-cages of post-punk, deathrock, darkwave, and traditional goth. DJs Ichabod + Baron von Birk = Your dates for an evening of new, current, and classic dance hymns to unconventional longing, romantic decadence, sullen dejection, lustful revelry, and plenty of subjects that have tested clean for VD, because we don't want to make everyone turn blue. So, post a request here, share the event like it's a cardboard valentine from 3rd grade, and invite your special someone(s). We'll bring the Pagan Lovesongs and see you on the dance floor. "Our love will last forever Until the day it dies..." ___________________ WHERE: The East Room: 2412 Gallatin Avenue in East Nashville, TN, 37206. Located across the street and down from fooBar, sandwiched in between Subway and the Car Wash. The entrance to the East Room is on the right side of the building, down the alley. DETAILS: Doors open at 9pm. FREE until 10pm, $5 after. 18+up admitted. Parking is free in the club's front lot and on the surrounding side streets at any time. Plenty of classics, club favorites, and even rarities will be heard, of course, but mixed with new & current artists that carry that spirit and expand on it today -- from the intentional revivalists, to the new dark indie underwave, we bridge the past and the future.
