Mindfulness can be defined as "the simple act of actively noticing things." Considering the 'busy'-ness of our daily lives, stopping long enough to pay attention to anyone or anything can and does become a challenge. Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction is a consious practice to greet life and its daily challenges with purposeful intention while establishing a daily commitment of self-care and compassion.

Succinctly, we "Sit, Move and Talk," e.g. 20 minutes each of gentle movement, guided meditation, and mindfulness teaching and conversation. Our Mindfulness Meetup is open to all who wish to cultivate and demonstrate a daily practice of mindfulness, compassion and wellbeing. No formal mindfulness, meditation or movement training is required. $10 Minimum fee for the class.
