Time Out says
"Food Chains" Comes to Vanderbilt!
Come to Sarratt Cinema at Vanderbilt University on the evening of March 9th to see a screening of "Food Chains," a critically-acclaimed new documentary film (from the producers of Food Inc. and Fast Food Nation) about the groundbreaking Fair Food Program created by the Coalition of Immokalee Workers (CIW), a group of thousands of tomato-pickers in Southwest Florida.
Vanderbilt Students of Nonviolence are working with Nashville Fair Food to bring this film to campus. Come learn how farmworkers came together to design the most successful corporate responsibility program in US agriculture, and how we can be involved here in Nashville!
Donations accepted! All funds raised will help allies get to Florida on March 21st for the CIW's Spring March.
