Frist Center for the Visual Arts says
YOU are invited to collaborate with teaching artists through May to make site-specific installation art at the Frist Center. The resulting multisensory interactive works will appear this fall in Extrasensory, a Conte Community Arts Gallery exhibition that will complement Nick Cave: Feat.

From March 31-April 9, artists Amber Lelli (Nashville) and Maria Borghoff (Atlanta) wrap up their workshops!

In Amber’s workshops, participants are painting or drawing images inspired by sensory experiences. During the exhibition, visitors will be encouraged to move the images to reveal memories and stories

Amber's Remaining Workshop Dates
Friday, March 31, 7:00–9:00 p.m.

In Maria’s workshops, participants are making ceramic pinch pots by hand, with each individual pot arranged as a taste bud within the shape of a tongue. Elements of taste and scent will also be incorporated.

Maria's Remaining Workshop Dates
Friday, April 7, 10:00–2:00 p.m.
Saturday, April 8, 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
Sunday, April 9, 1:00–4:00 p.m.
