Together we will build the foundations for a vinyasa yoga practice. This workshop is designed to provide each student with a solid understanding of breath guided movement, and proper structural alignment in each of the basic standing postures and sun salutations, including appropriate modifications for injuries or limitations. We will also discuss the use of breathing and meditation techniques as a way to reduce stress by quieting and focusing the mind – a practice that can be taken off of your mat and into your life.

We will move slowly through each step of the way, breaking down each posture and taking time to answer any questions. Each student will leave with the foundational tools necessary to step into a yoga class with confidence, understanding postures, terminology, and alignment.

Week 1: April 12
Sun Salutations, Foundations, & Breath

Week 2: April 19
Standing Postures, Transitions

Week 3: April 26
Backbends, Balancing

Week 4: May 3
Refining Technique, Modifications, Recap

Four week series starting April 5, every Sunday in 2:00pm - 3:30pm at the Germantown Studio.

Price: $80 for all 4 / $25 drop-in
