This two hour-workshop integrates the stories of the Bhagavad-Gita, Your Own Story, and Yoga. Together we will explore creative writing as a way to calm the mind by bringing your thoughts to paper.

Writing is a life practice just like yoga. Connecting the relationship between your yoga practice and creative writing is a way to increase meaning behind the ancient art of yoga and your own life. Together we will utilize the parables in the Bhagavad-Gita and observe how those valuable lessons pertain to your writing, your yoga practice and life in general.

Our workshop will include an active asana practice, writing prompts, and reading from the Bhagavad-Gita. This class is for everyone who loves yoga and writing and those curious about the stories behind the practice. At the end of our day you will recognize meditation through your words as well as with your body.
