Hats And Scarves For The Homeless
Advertising
Time Out says
Please gather as many hats, scarves and gloves as you can find. We are going to go around Nashville next week and tie them to posts with notes stating for anyone who is cold and does not have one to take one.
I saw this project on a post.
I say we meet in the Courtyard beside War Memorial and walk around Downtown either tying them to pole or handing them to people who look cold.
Please bring hats, gloves and scarves.
If you cannot come help distribute but want to still donate hats, scarves or gloves, let me know.
Another cool idea is to bring some food, like Nutragrain bar type snacks to put with it.... anything like that.
Here is what the post said that I saw.
Hundreds of hats and scarves have been spotted in cities that are experiencing freezing temps this winter. The message attached to one scarf says: "I am not lost! If you are stuck out in the cold, please take this to keep warm!"
