Hogwarts Justice Camp is a day camp for 10-17 year olds - June 26-30, 2017 - at Scarritt Bennett Center. For the first time, we are inviting young friends to join us for a magical experience engaging social justice, grassroots organizing practices, and anti-racism through the world of Harry Potter. At camp, campers will gain a more comprehensive understanding of the ways they can use their power to create a more just world. Following the lead of our sister camp in New Orleans, this camp will center these general themes: “The real magic is helping others. Every person has value. We all have magic in us. Let’s organize to make the world we want and need.”

As an alternative summer experience, Hogwarts Justice Camp offers our young people a space to strengthen their voices, deepen their imaginations, and exercise their collective power for good. Registration cost is $320 per camper. Cost includes lunch, snacks, t-shirt, and camp materials for all five days.

*This camp welcomes the magic of all our young freedom fighters! We encourage and support the participation of LGBTQI youth, immigrant or undocumented youth, youth of all ability levels, youth of all religions or no religion, and youth of color. Scholarship opportunities to come. We are open to help and suggestions around accessibility concerns. Be in touch!*
