What do you get when you have Kat Jones & The Prophets alongside Doctor Who themed uber kids Legs Nose Robinson singing you through every possible version of the apocalypse you can imagine? Well, you get a soundtrack for the end of all things that move through time and space.
Kat Jones and The Prophets have spent years developing a crystalline cacophony of sound. Their newest project, I Am Warm, Young, Blood (Rel. Aug. 2016), transforms the tale of the end of the world from the breaking of the earth to the breaking of your own heart. This 5-piece band presents a flamenco-infused punk rock soundtrack as the world turns or burns.
The Nashville-based quintet, Legs Nose Robinson, describes themselves as “Time Lord Rock” or TROCK, and have garnered a quite a bit of attention from Whovians around the world. “References to the series, while present, are subtle, with styles ranging from glam-tinged rock to a burlesque reminiscent of Kurt Weill.**”
These bands will be joining forces on January 23, 2016 at the Family Wash for an apocalyptic themed evening that all are invited to enjoy.
