Kingston Springs Suite: The Great Train Wreck Of 1973 says
Take Vince Matthews and Jim Casey—two laid-back country pickers, with laid-back country minds—add big ideas, little white pills, homemade wine, and the creative and financial support of four country music titans: Johnny Cash, Cowboy Jack Clement, Kris Kristofferson, and Shel Silverstein. Ferment in the sleepy hamlet of Kingston Springs, Tennessee. Stand back, and allow enough space for chaos, merriment, unforgettably odd and oddly charming music, and a major railroad derailment. Forty years after its non-issue, Kingston Springs Suite is finally available, and one of country music's most incredible stories can now be told. Jim Casey (songs recorded by Charley Pride, Bobby Bare, Waylon Jennings, Richie Havens, and more), journalist Frye Gaillard, and Kingston Springs survivors Danny Flowers ("Tulsa Time") and Chris Gantry ("Dreams of the Everyday Housewife") will gather to explore the vivid myths and blurry truths behind Kingston Springs Suite. Followed by a signing in the Museum Store. In support of the exhibit Dylan, Cash, and the Nashville Cats: A New Music City presented by Citi. Takes place in the Museum’s Ford Theater.

This program will be streamed live at Live stream powered by NewTek TriCaster.
