As a result of our focus groups conducted with students in the fall semester, the Department of Fitness and Recreation is excited to host Ladies Nite! There are so many myths and false truths that exist in regards to women who strength train or lift weights. The truth is that strength training should be a priority for every woman during her workout. Please join Josh Rogers, owner of RESULTS Fitness and voted best personal trainer in Nashville, as he explains the benefits of strength training and how he incorporates it into the workouts he plans for clients. At the conclusion of the Benefits of Strength Training for Women convocation, please join the FitRec personal trainers in the weight room where they will teach new exercises and show women how to use the equipment in a safe, non-judgmental environment! This event is for ladies only, so come ready for a fun night filled with laughs, sweat and some workouts that will show everybody that #LadiesCanLift too!
