Heralded as "a torch singer in the grandest sense of the word" by the Chicago Tribune, acclaimed recording artist and performer Mandy Barnett sings an evening of classic country and pop standards, along with selections from her own albums. Whether she’s singing country or pop, Mandy imparts a unique appreciation and sophistication to the music, transporting audiences on a journey back to fond memories and then bringing them right up to date with her sparkling vocals and ace musicians.

Mandy originated the role of "Patsy Cline" in the theatrical production Always...Patsy Cline at Nashville's famed Ryman Auditorium, where the performances sold out nightly, and she has wowed critics and audiences ever since. Mandy, in role as Patsy, appears on the original cast album recording.

Mandy is a frequent guest on the Grand Ole Opry and is equally as comfortable onstage with symphony orchestras. Her robust delivery on her contemporary yet retro-sounding country and pop-tinged material harkens back to the likes of all-time great female singers and timeless sounds.

Among the many publications praising Mandy's talents, the Los Angeles Times has commended her "pipes of steel," "big, brassy voice and vintage-sounding arrangements." Time, People, Billboard, Rolling Stone, and other major magazines have likewise extolled Mandy’s world-class vocals, “preternatural interpretative gifts” (Playboy), and “natural musicality” (People).

Mandy has released critically lauded albums, including “I’ve Got a Right to Cry,” produced by the legendary Owen Bradley, who also produced Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, and Brenda Lee. Mandy's current album, "I Can't Stop Loving You: The Songs of Don Gibson," fulfills a promise Mandy made to her friend and Country Music Hall of Fame member, singer/songwriter Don Gibson, and includes such iconic songs as the title track, "Sweet Dreams," and "Oh Lonesome Me." In reviewing this album, USA Today called Mandy one of the "finest classic country and torch singers" to come out of Nashville. Other reviewers called "I Can't Stop Loving You: The Songs of Don Gibson" "a riveting album" that showcases Mandy's "exquisite," "powerful and spellbinding," "soaring country torch" voice.

Mandy’s music has been featured on many film and television soundtracks, and she has appeared on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “The Late Show with David Letterman,” “CBS Sunday Morning,” PBS’s “Sessions at West 54th,” and numerous other television programs.
