MODERN ENGLISH:
Although best remembered for their infectious '80s new wave hit "I Melt With You," Modern English began in Colchester, Essex, England with strong post-punk roots, closer to the sound of bands like Joy Division. This US tour gathers the original members to celebrate their early 4AD Records period, which saw the band chart with songs like "Hands Across the Sea," "Someone's Calling," and "Ink and Paper" as well. The reunited members are about to release a brand new album for 2016.
