The Nashville Singers organization was founded in November of 2008 by a handful of men committed to excellence in vocal and choral performance. The chorus performs a diverse, primarily a cappella repertoire, covering many genres of music.

New music for the 2015 concert season includes:

An American Trilogy – arr. Jim Clancy

Champagne Taste (On a Beer Budget) – adapted by Ric Domenico

Music of the Night – arr. David Wright

Ring of Fire – adapted by Ric Domenico

Smilin’ Through – arr. Lou Perry and Ed Waesche

When I Fall In Love – arr. Jay Giallombardo

In six years, this volunteer group has grown from four to 17 singers, learned 65 songs, released two CDs, racked up 84 performances for 43 organizations in nine counties across Tennessee, and produced a successful concert series which has attracted 2,000+ attendees from 43 cities in ten states across the USA.

The mission of the Nashville Singers is to enrich lives through singing and the support of music education.

This support comes in the form of music education grants, college scholarships, master classes in area schools, and an annual vocal performance clinic called Acappella Academy. In the last four years, the Nashville Singers have awarded $8,250 in music education grants and scholarships impacting 300 students in seven schools across Middle Tennessee.

The singers are all volunteers, range in age from 23 to 83, and travel from Brentwood, Franklin, Hendersonville, Hermitage, LaVergne, Nashville, Portland, and Smyrna to participate in chorus activities.

In 2014, The Nashville Business Journal’s annual “Book of Lists” ranked the Nashville Singers 7th in their list of the “Top 20” performing arts organizations in Nashville.

In the fall of 2013, Lipscomb University students Everett Davis, Lincoln Mick, and Sarah Wood began collaborating and playing music together. After recording a few songs the following winter, and gaining some experience performing on the campus of their university's campus, The Arcadian Wild trekked out to Sarah's home in Peublo, CO for the summer of 2014. During their stay in the Midwest, the group released their debut album, The Colorado EP, and spent their time tightening up their sound through a slew of live performances in Colorado, Arizona, Wyoming, and California.

Upon their return to Nashville, the trio grew into a quartet with the addition of gifted multi-instrumentalist Isaac Horn. The group continues to grow sonically, developing their unique brand of alternative folk, and enjoying the kind of diversity that results from the collaboration of four talented songwriters.
