What will be covered:
Handbuilding is the act of forming clay without the use of a potters wheel. Join us as we learn 4 basic techniques that can be used to create even the most complex of structures. Learn how to make functional and sculptural work and find out how clay can be used to bring any project to life.

This class will take place over two days. Day one we will get our hands dirty and create 4 pieces, using a different technique for each.

Each student will be encouraged to make their own using surface decoration and design. The following week we will gather to learn the basics of glazing using 4 different application techniques and exploring the chemistry of glaze.

This class meets for TWO sessions...
September 15 (6-9) and September 22(6-8)
***Ticket sales end September 13***
