RCA Studio B

Music Row, a mile southwest of downtown, is the stuff of recording legend. The star at its heart is the Historic RCA Studio B, Nashville's oldest recording studio and home to hits like Roy Orbison's "Only the Lonely," Dolly Parton's "Jolene" and more than 250 Elvis Presley songs.

I am not a die-hard Elvis fan but I had chills sitting in the studio where he recorded his number one hits. The stories that the guide told were really incredible and the set up of simulating Elvis' recording studio through lighting, music and scene-setting really made it feel like he was actually there. This is a part of the Country Music Hall of Fame tour and by far my favorite part. Buy tickets early in the morning because they sell out and the last tour goes out at around 4pm!
