Mystery Twins play their first Nashville Headlining show of 2015 with our buddies Earl Burrows and Cleveland's own Filmstrip. come on out! • MYSTERY TWINS • http://mysterytwins.bandcamp.com/ After over a decade of playing together as one half of Nashville based band The Clutters, a band that garnered public praise from the likes of David Fricke of Rolling Stone and film director Cameron Crowe, Doug Lehmann and Stephanie Brush are stripping it all back, opening wounds and letting it all bleed with Mystery Twins. Already releasing a couple of singles, EPs, a debut Album and an appearance on a Third Man Records Compilation, Mystery Twins continue to impress. • EARL BURROWS • https://soundcloud.com/earlburrows Nashville-based Earl Burrows plays jagged, jangly 70’s glam-rock era pop that is both tough and intelligent in delivery. This is music for thinkers by thinkers, and the technical prowess is hard to ignore. Perhaps it’s the musical pedigree coming through as Mark Watrous wrote much of the songs while on the road playing with the likes of The Raconteurs, Brendan Benson, The Greenhornes, Karen Elson, Shudder To Think, and most recently, The Shins. Joel Watrous moved to Nashville from the brothers' hometown in Washington’s Tri-Cities where he was a member of Mu Meson and Dance Imperative. Drummer James Freshwater cut his teeth with Ohio indie darlings, Lovedrug, and guitarist Carson Medders continues to play in Nashville’s Non Commissioned Officers, The Medders, and Fox Bear Snake. • FILMSTRIP • https://filmstrip.bandcamp.com/ Filmstrip is a three- piece rock band from Cleveland, Ohio. Brothers Dave Taha (guitar, vocals) and Matt Taha (bass, vocals) met Nick Riley (drums) in elementary school. They began playing in bands together in junior high and continued through high school. The group reunited in 2009 under the name filmstrip, and have continued to work together ever since.
