The Notion says
We're in a unique time. Whether or not you are fully convinced climate change is a thing, one thing is a fact-the environment needs our help. Carbon dioxide levels are at historical highs, polar ice is melting, sea levels are rising, deforestation of rainforests is increasing to make room for palm oil companies, and more locally-waste and trash are a consistant problem. And at the end of the day, no matter what color your skin is, your political stance, your religion, it doesn't matter-we all share this air and this planet TOGETHER.

As a band, we're guilty of being wasteful, but we've decided to make a concious effort to start changing our lifestyles, and realize the importance of taking care of this planet for future generations to enjoy. If Sweden and Iceland can make the switch to becoming non-fossil fuel burning countries, we can too. But we have to join together, and make the President aware of how important this is to the people. Help him see those currently employeed in fossil fuel jobs can be slowly transitioned to green energy positions. Lets not sit back and be the generation that could have made our voices heard. We will be taking signatures at the show, that will go along with a respectful letter to Washington. We are defined not by what we say, but what we do. And it's time to take action. Even the people as a whole can make small, concious efforts to contribute by simply recycling, turn lights off when you aren't home, go solar, carpool. The smallest daily tasks can add up.

Join us, The Notion, along with our friends in Safe Secrets and Man Behind the Curtain as we fight for this cause. And rock out, of course.

All proceeds from the door and any other donations will go directly to the NRDC (Natural Resources Defense Council), who fights for the same causes that we do.

$5 cover. Doors at 8, music starts at 9. We hope to see you all there!
Saving the planet is rocknroll.
